The City

The City

The brick city

Is the city

Someone ask if you wanna leave

I said I rather be dead then to be in a different city

The brick

Is the city

The Mecca of melanin unity

Art galore if you find the right store

Some say this city is dangerous

All cities has its dangerous

And all cities has its courageous too

That’s why I love the brick city

There are so many people trying to change the world too

Within in the bricks

Even though it’s flipping hands with the rich

Now we see the melanin taking land brick by the brick

I’m Enjoying see the melanin get wealthy

As organic food is thriving

We are eating healthy and living lavishly

It can be heavenly in the bricks

Don’t let them conjure you in single story glitch

That the bricks ain’t shit

We been the Mecca of poetry arts and gifts

Come around and I can show where it is

To one of biggest cities that with hold melanin
