Black Lives Matter

Black Lives Matter

It bothered me

Seeing black lives matter signs

In the suburban areas of Maplewood

You know where it’s rare to see melaninated skin and shit

It Trigger my shit

Walking past them America dream houses

With the America flags posted up

Look like Confederate Flags to me

Cuz America ain’t never been good to me

Toy trucks on the sidewalks with action figures and dolls in em

Triggering me, but I smile in amor

Cause there was Trees bigger than the miniature mansions

The Air was real fresh,

some real Oxygen breezin through

Grass clipped in every lawn you walk by

But then you see black lives matter by the swinging chair

You pull through the bricks

Aint no picket fence signs

Saying our lives matter

But there in the suburbs of maplewood

There it is stationed brightly in front of the dream house with the basketball hoop ain’t no one using

Ironic

Iconic

As if they gotta remind themselves that our lives matter

Or to make themselves feel better about them supporting a white owned slogan telling other whites our lives mean shit

Like we haven’t been dying trying to tell them that

You Pull through the bricks

& You don’t see that shit posted on every house

We carry that shit on our sleeves

that slogan is leaking on the concrete

That slogan Be in our wailing and our tears

While at the funeral of another poor soul taken out by a man coming out a black & white … car

That slogan is yelled when we say, “Don’t shoot me”.

The Shit is said when we are pulled over with no criminal reason.

But it’s posted in the suburbs

Ain’t that comical

Phenomenal

It’s Stupendous

…….

I’m Fucking triggered !

Is our lives that much of a joke to you people?

A White owned slogan

Formulated from our terror

From Our dream of being treated equally

A White owned slogan

Crafted by our demise

Stitched together by deaths of the misexcused

Who was killed by a pig

With no crime intact

Ain’t that black

Black lives matter

Fuck you

Typing that shit you get a black fist

What da fuck

Ain’t that black

Triggered, fucking triggered

Cause we ain’t even black

We be melanin

Our skin ain’t black

It’s melanin ✊🏿
